Sumy State University staff discussions on the First National Channel

Sumy State University Webometrics and Web-Marketing Centre team of took part in the youth talk show “Teleakademiya” on the first national channel. National channel proposition was addressed to the University after internet broadcasting of the contest “Miss Sumy State University 2012”. Sumy State University was the first to broadcast this webcast marathon.

During the broadcasting Webometrics and Web-Marketing Centre representatives talked about the University web system, web projects and their plans for the future.

We hope that the joint initiative of the Sumy State University and “Teleakademiya” project will promote future fruitful cooperation between the University and the first national channel.

About 30 persons (hosts, videotape operators, engineers, audio operators, producers) took part in this marathon which lasted for more than 7 hours and drew more than 2000 TV viewers from all over the world. Special guests of “Teleakademiya” project shared experience and helped Sumy State University students to organize the broadcasting.

Sumy State University internet-television group leader Boris Panchenko became the main broadcasting producer. He thinks that this project gave the opportunity to check students’ and post-graduates’ knowledge in practice. All the time SSU students provided simultaneous translation in English. Alina Zurbenko (student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communication) became a broadcasting producer. The main live air technical aspects were based on the dissertation results of a broadcasting engineer Evgen Kryuchko (post-graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Informational Technologies).
